SOKA Fest at Purple Turtle

This event forms part of a wider celebration of Reading and Berkshire’s music community. The event honours Sophie Sheehan, a much-loved member of the local scene who performed live and supported Reading’s LGBTQ+ community.

Music runs throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Therefore, audiences can discover several performers during one visit with their Soka Passport.

SOKA Fest brings local musicians together to celebrate the community Sophie helped build. Above all, the combination of live music and fundraising gives the performances a shared purpose.
