Quick Facts
➖ Headliner: Dolly Mavies – Oxford-based ethereal post-folk artist with national airplay
➖ Support acts: Josh Roberts, Anna Muir, and Innsbruck
➖ Performance format: All artists performing as full bands
➖ Presented by: Riverwolf Music – curated original live music nights
Headliner: Dolly Mavies
Dolly’s music forms a distinct sonic tapestry. It combines the emotional pull of folk with the momentum of modern indie rock. Listeners often compare her energy to Fleetwood Mac, while her dramatic intensity echoes Florence and the Machine. At the same time, her songwriting carries the emotional depth associated with Daughter.
Her growing reputation reflects that powerful mix. Dolly has received national airplay on BBC Radio 2, Absolute Radio, and BBC 6 Music. Meanwhile, Nightshift Magazine has already described her as “Oxford’s rising star.” On stage, she delivers a performance that balances atmosphere, emotion, and strong musical presence.
Support: Josh Roberts
Josh Roberts is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Maidenhead. His music blends imaginative indie songwriting with polished modern production.
His sound mixes the anthemic indie style of Sam Fender and James Bay with the electronic pop energy of MGMT and Daft Punk. As a result, his songs feel both sophisticated and accessible.
Josh has already built strong momentum on the live circuit. He performed on the Croissant Neuf stage at Glastonbury 2024 and appeared at Reading’s Are You Listening? Festival and Wokingham Festival. In addition, BBC Introducing Oxfordshire & Berkshire has supported his music.
Support: Anna Muir
South coast artist Anna Muir writes music that invites listeners to drive, scream, and cry along. Her songwriting draws inspiration from Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief, and Radiohead.
She has recently appeared on billboards across her hometown of Southampton. At the same time, she continues to perform at well-known venues across the South. Anna has supported sold-out shows and recently sold out her own debut headline performance at Winchester’s The Railway Inn.
Opening Act: Innsbruck
Woking-based band Innsbruck open the night with shoegaze-inspired, guitar-driven indie. Their atmospheric sound combines layered guitars with energetic live performances.
The band has already played festivals such as Guilfest. They also supported Australian band The Frauds in Hackney and continue to take their music to venues across the UK.
